Eixample area in Barcelona, close to Diagonal Avenue, the area where the locals live. A block away from a Metro station, and from several bus stops. Lots of shops and restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
Locality and attractions
The location is very central, so it is easy to get to all major attractions in the city (10 minutes walk to Paseo de Gracia, with its Gaudi buildings, for example), 5 minutes to Diagonal shopping area
How to get there from the airport
Fastest way from the airport is by taxi (20-25 euro and 20-25 minutes). Train is the cheapest way. Go to Sants Estacio (25 minutes) and then take the metro (2 stops) to Hospital Clinic.
How to get there from the city center
The easier way is to walk. Metro line 5 (blue) to Hospital Clinic. Bus lines 14, 54, 59, 63, 66, 67, 68 and night buses N3, N7 and N12 within 1 block. Really very well connected!

Special Requirements/Additional comments
Private covered and secure parking could be available for 15euros/night, ask in advance. The apartment looks to a very nice interior, giving it great privacy (neighbors are far away!) and making the place very quiet (no street noise).
