It was a pleasure to stay in the apartment and all was fully satisfactory.
This is a really gorgeous apartment and the photos don't really do it justice. The sitting room, dining room and children's bedroom in particular are lovely and light and airy. The kitchen and bathrooms are small but perfectly adequete. It was been decorated with a very good 'eye' and with excellent taste. It is particularly suitable for a family with small children with all the facilities such as cot, highchair, baby bath etc. available. It's also only on the first floor so not too painful to access and there's a nice courtyard and play area out the back. The immediate area is very interesting, with restaurants, bars, food shops, boutiques, etc. very close by. Closer to the railway station is a bit rough (at least for Copenhagen!) but nothing that would put you off staying in the apartment. We would certainly recommend this apartment.
The hostess Jen Dixon is very eager to please. Her apartment has an artsy flair and is funky. The location was ideal for us visiting family however it was also close to the new mall groceries public transit & parks. Great way to get around Stockholm.
very charming owner very nice apartment although smaller than indicated (more 65m2 than 90) and a bit noisy due to work on a new building behind the house and some strange noise between 7 and 8 am!. Also a bit strange area at night coming from the station. However during the day: perfect location very nice and clean apartment nice and breathy decoration. And a guitar! altogether certainly to be recommended.
The owners were very friendly and tried to make possible all our wishes concerning arrival and passing! The apartment was comfort and nice. We think its not so large as said, but it doesn't matter and the two bathrooms were perfect for four persons! We would book it again!
Very nice appartment close to the city center, nice and very helpfull owners
A family apartment, well located in a middle class area with a mixed variety of people in the neighbourhood. The main railway station is an easy 15 minute walk away, past various shops and restaurants. The Tivoli is a further 5 minutes past the station. The apartment is spacious enough for two couples and conveniently, has two (small) bathrooms. The owner, Mathias is a lovely man who was extremely communicative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and are happy to recommend it.
We (a family with two adult children) spent some very interesting days in Copenhagen. The apartment is tastefully furnished and is conveniently situated in Vesterbro district. We were greeted warmly by the owner and felt in the three days right at home. Thank you so much.
I reserved this apartment in Copenhagen for our group of 4 well seasoned travellers. I still hear the comments and compliments about my find. Mathias is a great guy and we will certainly recommend RedApple as well as the apartement on Istedgad. We had a most wonderful stay, too short unfortunately.
... if you stay in this apartment, you will definetly get a very good acomondation for your money. The bedrooms are very nice. The location is wonderful and the equibment in the living room, bathroom, dining room and kitchen are enough for a stay. All together very good-
The apartment was clean, bright and comfortable, and more than large enough for a family of four with two young boys. It was nice to stay in a place that felt like a real home, rather than a holiday apartment. Owner was very flexible to check in and check out and was there to meet us as arranged - made the stay very simple. Great ice cream shop just around the corner and plenty of other shop and restaurants around. The walk to the centre of the city via the central station and Tivoli gardens takes you though the slightly dodgy red light district, but this can easily be avoided by heading a block north.
We - my wife and I - really enjoyed our short stay in this apartment. The facilities were excellent, the location just great - 10 min walk to the train station, Tivoli gardens, another 10 min to NyHaven. We highly recommend it!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-month stay in Istedgade . The apartment is spacious and sunny and you couldn't wish for a better location . Hosts really friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment very much. Mathias was very friendly and helpful and the apartment clean and cosy. If we come back to Copenhagen, we really would like to stay there again.
We stayed for one week in the apartment with our two young children. It is in a central location on Istegade and a 10 minute walk from the train station and areas of Copenhagen that people may wish to visit. Our daughters (and us) adored the apartment - it is bright and airy with many home comforts and Matthius made us feel very welcome. It was bigger than we expected, and a real pleasant change to spend evenings in a lounge or dining area, rather than couped up in a hotel room with our kids asleep. There is a shared garden in the back of the apartment block with a play area for children which was excellent. It really is a great apartment and I would definitely use the apartment again when we return to Copenhagen.
