Entrance hall with entrance to the bathroom and two rooms. One large room, the living room, which contains a large futon double bed, dining table, couch, working desk and a nice well equipped kitchen. There is a nice view from the french balcony out to the great courtyard. The other room has a single bed, which can be turned into a double bed, a table and hangers for the clothes.
The living room has a double futon bed, 160x200 cm, which can not be separated into two singles. The other room has a single bed, futon mattresses, which is able to turn into a double bed.
Christianshavn is one of the most charming and historic neighbourhoods of Copenhagen and is at the same time the smallest part of town. Christianshavn is among other things known for its historic buildings, the canals, the Opera House, the church of Our Savior, the free town Christiania, the fortifications ad bastions and the world-famous restaurant 'Noma'. There are grocery stores, bakeries, cafés and restaurants just around the corner, in two minutes walking distance from the apartment. You can discover it all by foot by just walking out the front door!
Locality and attractions
You can walk to all the attractions, stores and cafés listed under 'Neighbourhood description'. You are about 10 minutes walk away from the city center and all its attractions. 10 minutes walk to the Parliament, 15 minutes walk to the National Theatre and the Main Street 'Strøget'.
There are sushi restaurants, Thai restaurants, and a local Indian cuisine in the neighbourhood.
How to get there from the airport
The fastest and cheapest way to get to the apartment is by metro. You can go directly from the airport to the apartment. It takes about 10-15 minutes.
Get off at the metro stop 'Christianshavn'. When you come up the stairs you are a the square. Pass the grocery store Super Brugsen and then turn right, the name of the street is Dronningensgade. Walk down the street, turn left at the first corner, this is Sofiegade. Walk straight ahead until you come to number 21, an ochre yellow house-Welcome!
How to get there from the city center
You are about 10-15 minutes walk away from the city center.
The metro stop and bus station is within walking distance from the apartment, just 3-5 minutes away. There is 1 stop to the city center (Kongens Nytorv) if you prefer to go by metro, it takes about 3 minutes. Bus line 2A and 9A takes you to the Parliament and the central station and line number 350 S runs to the National Royal Theatre and the Botanical Gardens, takes about 7-10 minutes.
