This is a lovely apartment for a couple or small family and is very much in the copenhagen style of cosy and warm. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. The owners welcomed us with glasses of coffee and Danish bread and were very responsive to requests. The best thing is its location. This is a lovely heritage area with rows of colourful family friendly townhouses. The streets are calmed by play areas, sandpits and communal picnic tables. You are close to central Copenhagen by short walk or buses outside the door. And you are also close to the lovely area of Osterbro for cafes and shopping, parks, lakes, art galleries and the botanic garden. In less than two minutes from your door there is a small supermarket with everything you need, a bakery/cafe, a laundrymat, restaurants, bars, a hairdresser, and a bike shop that hires out bikes. We would have stayed there forever if we could have.
It was so nice to stay in this fantastic artists house. Perfect pad, everything you needed was there. The area was plush and the local supermarket and coffee shop was amazing; the best cakes ever!!!!
If you like home from home comforts, staying in a lovely area away from tourist traps and you fancy staying in a fantastic artists home then book this place. Its a short walk into town and has the best coffee shop (Emmerys) on your door step. Dealing with the owner is brilliant, she is excellent at being in touch, making arrangements to meet you and answering your questions. Finally, its a great cost. Will be there every year for sure!
