Red Apple Apartments is a family run short-term apartment agency providing accommodation solutions from just one night to several months depending on individual customer needs.
Our ambition is to provide great customer service in everything we do. Our preferred partners are selected apartment hotels and apartment owners. We have personally met with all our preferred partners and viewed all listed apartments to ensure quality and services are maintained.
 
1.2 What are the differences between the various types of apartments Red Apple Apartments offers?
On our web site you will find three main types of apartments
A Self-Catered Apartment is generally situated in a residential neighborhood and is cleaned before and after your arrival unless otherwise stated on the apartment info page. Staying in a residential neighborhood enables you to experience the city like a native, where the local grocery store or dry cleaner is usually just around the corner.
A Serviced Apartment is either an Apartment Hotel or a unique Serviced Apartment in a residential areal. Serviced Apartments offer our customers a cleaning service which is usually on weekly basis but sometimes this can be negotiated with our supplier.
A Hotel Apartments usually has a 24 hour reception which can provide a concierge service and assistance. Hotel apartments often provide a full range of on-site services such as gym, swimming pool, restaurant, coffee house to name a few. They all have daily to weekly cleaning which includes a bed linen and towel change along with other housekeeping duties.
 
1.3 What is the difference between a Red Apple Apartment and a hotel?
Red Apple Apartment offers spacious and fully furnished apartments that make you feel just like home. Our apartments are much larger than a regular hotel room allowing you to create an atmosphere that is hard to find in a hotel.
 
1.4 What is included in all Red Apple Apartments?
Our listed apartments are all private and they all have a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, tableware, and toaster, TV, iron and ironing board, bathroom with shower and/or bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, towels, and all beds have linen. All apartments have wireless internet connection.

We would say for the very special service that we give. Every client is important to us and as it is a family business, you get that special attention and personal service. We also have a personal relationship with all our preferred apartment suppliers making it possible for us to be more flexible when it comes to your special requests.
 
2. Booking and payment
 
2.1 How do I book an apartment?
To find an apartment which is suitable for your needs please use our search engine or our advanced search engine, both accessible on our front page. Information about individual apartments is provided on a single page so you have all the information you need in one place to make your decision. All listed apartments are complemented by high quality photographs, detailed description and an interactive map of the location and the surrounding area. When you have decided on an apartment just click the booking button located on the apartment info page and follow the detailed instruction.

2.2 Where can I find information about the terms and conditions?

2.3 How do I amend my booking?
You can contact us at info@redappleapartments.com or by telephone at +46 763 416 730 with any amendments you require, for example, if you want to add nights to your booking, or change the apartment type. We cannot, however, guarantee availability if you require extra nights. If you wish to reduce the number of nights booked, you may be subject to a cancellation charge, but we will always do our best to help you.
 
2.4 How do I pay?
Payment is made at the end of the booking process either with a Credit Card or a Bank wire transfer. The payment made includes all charges and fees payable for your stay. No additional payment needs to be made.
In order to ensure maximum security when you submit your credit card information on our website we have made an agreement with PayPal, a global leader in online payment solutions (https://www.paypal-media.com/aboutus.cfm).
 
2.5 Are local taxes included in prices?
Rates of all our apartments include local taxes (VAT).
 
2.6 Can I pay in my country's currency?
All transactions are carried out in Euros but conversion rates in other currencies are proximate for your convenience during the booking process. Conversion rates are updated on a monthly basis.
 
2.7 Can I extend my stay?
Certainly, but only if the accommodation is available on the dates that you want to extend. Please send us an email to info@redappleapartments.com or give us a phone call at +46 763 416 730.
 
2.8 Do I have to pay a damage deposit?
No. We trust that you will take sufficient care of the apartment. We expect  you to report to us or the contact person in case of any breakage, and will then check if the cost is to be charged to you or not.
If any damage is brought to the apartment and we nor the owner are informed about it, the owner will have it repaired and the cost will be charged to your credit card.
 
2.9 I do not have a credit card. Can I still book a room?
Yes, we accept bank wire transfer.
 
3. Cancellations
 
3.1 What happens if I cancel my booking?
Cancellations can be made through our web site www.redappleapartments.com or by email at info@redappleapartments.com.
Any cancellation made less then 30 days before the check-in date will mean that only proportion will be refunded:
15 to 29 days - 70%
8 to 14 days - 50%
0 to 7days - 20%
 
3.2 Do I need cancellation insurance?
We advise you to take out cancellation insurance when booking. It is generally not expensive but often covers unexpected setbacks. Please consult your regular insurance company, bank or Credit Card Organization for available options. Often travel insurance is covered by your credit card.
 
4. During your stay
 
4.1 Which are the hours of check-in and check-out of the apartment?
General check-in time is between 15:00 and 20:00.
Check-out time is before 12:00 on day of departure.
The arrival time should be communicated at least 3 days before arrival by e-mail or by phone call to the contact person. Details can be found in the booking confirmation sent to the email address submitted by you in the booking process. In some rare instances arrivals after 18:00 pm can be subject to additional charge which will be determined by individual apartment owners.
Check in earlier then 15:00 can be requested but can only be confirmed and warranted by individual apartment owners. Please use the information provided in the booking confirmation email sent to you if you wish to contact the apartment owner with special requests.
 
4.2 Where do we pick up the keys for the apartment?
You will find information in your booking confirmation sent to you by email. Please feel free to contact us if you have any problems by email info@redappleapartments.com or give us a phone call at +46 763 416 730.
 
4.3 Are linen and towels provided in the apartments?
All linen and towels are provided and included in the list price of your flat.
 
4.3 Do you have a 24 hour emergency telephone number?
There is a 24 hour emergency telephone contact number for emergencies during your stay in our apartments. This number you will find in your booking confirmation sent to you by email. In case you need to contact the police or you have a medical emergency please us 112.
 
5. Departing
 
5.1 On departure, where do we leave the keys?
Instructions on where to leave the keys on departure can be found in the booking confirmation sent to the email address submitted by you in the booking process.
 
5.2 Can I extend my stay?

6. Cleaning
 
6.1 Is there any cleaning service in the apartment?
All our apartments provide fresh linen and towels.
 
Self-Catered Apartment
Information on the cleaning fee for individual apartment can be found on the apartment info page. (It may vary between 30 € and 60 €, depending on the size of the apartment). The client should leave the apartment clear of any garbage and in a generally clean condition.
 
Serviced Apartment
A Serviced Apartment offers our customers a cleaning service on weekly basis but sometimes on daily basis. Information on the cleaning fee for individual apartment can be found on the apartment info page.
 
Hotel Apartment
A Serviced Apartment offers our customers a cleaning service on weekly basis but sometimes on daily basis. Information on the cleaning fee for individual apartment can be found on the apartment info page.
