What information do I need to provide to list my apartment on the website?
You will be asked to provide information about your apartment and your neighbourhood. The details we request provide the basic information to guests considering booking your apartment.
Good photographs of your apartment are the key to getting good tenants. We need high quality photos of each room of your apartment, including the kitchen and bathroom to create a complete listing on our website. You can read our short guide to apartment photography on our blog for tips and then upload your photos. Photos must be at least (not smaller than) 432 x 288 pixels.
May I rent out a room(s) via Red Apple Apartment's website?
No. Red Apple Apartments offers private apartment accommodation rather than shared accommodation options. All apartments must have a private kitchen and bathroom.
Clients book the entire apartment for the duration of their stay.
I have several properties for rental, is there a limit to the number I can publish on Red Apple Apartment's website?
We like to believe that there is no limit to the potential partnership with accommodation providers. However, we do find it useful to start with a small selection of apartments (5) at the beginning of our working relationship.
Once you have received your first successful booking through Red Apple Apartments, your City Manager will contact you to discuss our additional requirements based on customer demand in the city.

I would like to promote an apartment in a city that is currently not on Red Apple Apartments' map. What should I do?
Our company is continuously expanding.
If you would like to offer an apartment for rental in a city other than the ones on our current homepage, please send an email to email@example.com and we may consider prioritizing the launch of your city in our development strategy.
How does my apartment get booked?
All of our apartments are available to be booked online. This means that your availability calendar must be kept up to date at all times. When a client books your apartment, you will receive a Booking Confirmation Document, which means that the customer has already paid the full amount for your apartment. These booking dates are automatically blocked on your calendar.
How do I set the price for my apartment?
One of the benefits of listing with Red Apple Apartments is that you get to set the price you want for your apartment. We will add our commission on top of this price, which we only earn when your apartment gets booked through our website.
Apartments are priced per night and/or per month.
Can I set special prices for high seasons?
Yes! Once your listing application has been approved, you will be able to set Seasonal and Special Event prices for your apartment via your Owner's Account.
How will I get paid?
Payments are initiated on the 1st and 16th day of every month following the customers' check in. Your payment will be directly deposited into the account of your choice and will be accompanied by an invoice for our commission, which has already been deducted on the day of payment. All payments are made in euros.
What terms are in place to protect apartment owners and managers from customer cancellations?
For Customer cancellations made 15 days or less before the check-in date, we provide the following options:

Any cancellations of Special Event bookings, made more than 30 days prior to check in, entitle the Apartment Owner to 50% of the rental amount, if Red Apple Apartments cannot find a new Customer for the cancelled period.
Any cancellations made 30 days or less prior to Special Event bookings entitle the Apartment Owner to full rental payment, if Red Apple Apartments cannot find a new Customer for the cancelled period.
What do I need to provide in the apartment?
The apartment should be fully furnished and include bed linen and towels. The kitchen should have all the basic equipment to make a simple meal and enough dishes and cutlery for the maximum number of guests who can sleep in the apartment. Ideally the apartment should also be equipped with high-speed or wireless Internet.
Most importantly, the apartment should be equipped with all of the equipment, amenities and features you indicate when listing your apartment information.
How will the tenant receive the keys to the apartment upon arrival?
You will need to arrange to have the keys delivered to the apartment or to the tenant upon arrival. It is your responsibility to contact the guest a few days prior to arrival to arrange this.
Who will clean the apartment before and after it is occupied?
It is your responsibility to have the apartment cleaned before and after a tenant occupies your apartment. If you don't want to do this yourself, you can hire a friend or relative or professional cleaning service. The tenant will be charged a cleaning fee, which you set during the listing process.
What happens if a tenant breaks or steals something from the apartment?
Our clients are high-paying and respectful travellers, and such incidents are highly unlikely, but just in case, all Booking Confirmation emails have an important security box that must be filled out by the customer upon check in. By having the customer's correct ID and credit card information, the probability of a successful claim for damages or fraud will increase substantially.
For accidents you should have home owner's insurance both for damages to property and liability for the tenant. Contact your insurance company to see if you need special coverage for rentals.
Can I list my apartment on other websites?
Yes. You may advertise your apartment on any other list. It is your responsibility to make sure that your availability calendar is kept up to date if you receive bookings through other sources.
What service does Red Apple Apartments offer apartment owners and property managers?
We have a team of dedicated City Managers to assist your listing process and to ensure that you receive maximum benefit through your partnership with Red Apple Apartments.
Integrated marketing campaigns to ensure your property enjoys the visibility it deserves. Our primary marketing channel is online, although we do enjoy promoting our service and our partners' properties via press and other media opportunities.
Our multi-lingual service team is available Monday to Friday, 08:00 am until 18:00 pm (Central European time, GMT +1) and our after hour service will attend to any emergencies or booking problems via email and telephone.
We have created a user-friendly Apartment Owner website for you to easily manage your apartment availability and rental business through Red Apple.
How does Red Apple Apartment get paid for this great service?
Red Apple Apartments earns a commission of the apartment's listed price, when your apartment gets booked through our website. You set the price you would like to receive per night and/or per month and we add our commission on top of your price.
Our commission amount ranges between 20% and 25%. Apartments which offer more than 3 months (90 days) availability qualify for a 20% commission. Apartments listed only for rentals during special events or for periods less than 3 months earn us 25% commission on bookings. This commission rate applicable for your apartment will be clearly displayed on the pricing page in your Owners Account.
