Brief description
A beautiful, fully-equipped apartment for up to 5 guests in the historical center of Reykjavík. There is spiral staircase leading to the bathroom downstairs.
Sleeping arrangement
The first bedroom has a double-sized bed, while the second has two single beds which can be moved together upon request. Additionally the living-room sofa doubles as a bed.
The neighborhood
Across the street the neighborhood grocery store is open 8 am to 11:30pm. A few steps down you'll find organic food stores, veggie restaurant, book cafe and a record shop.
Locality and attractions
Right beneath Hallgríms Church, situated at the top of a rich and vibrating neighborhood in and around Skolavordustíg. All the Galleries, museums and three swimming pools are within 30 min.
How to get there from the airport
The airport is located 45 minutes from the city center and is serviced conveniently by the Flybus. To make for an even more convenient stay, the local flybus bus stops 20 meters from the apartment.
How to get there from the city center
Located in the city's center. Despite of a rather peaceful situation at the top of the hill, there is only a few minute walk to the shopping, restaurants and nightlife of Reykjavik city center.

Special Requirements/Additional comments
Historical note: The architect of the Cathedral, Hallgrimskirkja, and other prominent buildings in Reykjavik such as the National Theater and the swimming hall around the hill, grew up in this house and lived there while designing most of his works .
