The apartment is totally renovated with many amenities, large bedroom, lots of space, nice views, and very sunny. There are lots of books, music, and two cable TVs. We have a new laptop computer, printer, and scanner. The building is well kept with two apartments on each floor. We have very good friends who take care of the apt, and are almost always available should there be any problem. We are on the 4th floor with elevator.
The bedroom has a queen size bed. We have two sofas in the living room, that are certainly comfortable for a child.
The apt is in the Center. It is a very convenient location with three tram lines, and two bus lines in front of the building. There is a supermarket next door with lots of cafes, and restaurants within a few blocks. It is a ten minute ride from Central Station, and the airport is about 30 minutes away by train.
We are a few blocks from Dam Square, across the street from the Anne Frank House, and a short tram ride to the museum area. The Jordaan with it's unique shops, and buildings is just a few blocks away.
There is a train station right in Schipol airport. You can take the train from the airport to Central Station. It is about a 20 minute ride. When you get off take the tram outside the station right to the apartment.(3 or 4 stops)
From Central Station you can take the #13 or #17 right to the door. It is less then a 10 minute ride or nice walk. We are in the City Center.
