The apartment is in the Eixample, the vast modernist residential neighborhood built in the 19th century. And Gracia quartier is 2 mint walk. There are cozy cafes, bars and grocery stores at every corner.
Gaudi's Guell Park, the Casa de les Punxes and the flower market of Concepcio are very close. The Sagrada Familia and Paseo de Gracia the best street 5 min walk.
From Barcelona El Prat airport (BCN), take the train to BARCELONA-GRACIA station. The apartment is 10 mint walk away. Or from Girona Airport (GRO), take the bus to Arc de Triomph station.
Walk 5 mint to the 2 most beautifuls av. of the city, Pso.de Gracia (best shops and Gaudi's buildings). Bus 45 in 10 mint to Gothic Quarter and the Ramblas and 15 mint to the beaches.

The beach can be reached after an easy and nice bike-ride or in 10 min with the bus. Check ins after 22:00 will be subject to a 40€ late check-in fee, payable directly to the owner. Pets allowed supplement of 30€. A 150€ refundable security deposit in cash is required at time of check-in.

There is a big problem of ants in the apartment otherwise it is ok to live here. I have advised the Owner, but she seams to not care. Furthermore, internet connection is available only with a usb key, but the owners did not provide the CD in order to install the drivers.
Excellent value for money, with the apartment owner living elsewhere in the apartment block. It was the best accommodation we paid for anywhere on our 8 week trip of the UK, France and Italian (bus) trips, and after a tiny one room apartment in Madrid for 3 nights, in a noisy street just off the Grand Via, this place was absolutely fabulous for us. We were there during an important night football game on everybody's television except ours, and we shared in Barcelona's win as everybody in the neighborhood cheered on their team. There was a bus stop near our front door, and we were able to walk
