Kitchen was good but the oven was very slow and didn't get hot enough.
We absolutely loved this apartment. It was in a great place, felt safe and really close to everything (including the metro). The owner was lovely too and made us feel very welcome and was utterly reliable in meeting us with the keys etc.
It was a very nice apartement and we enjoyed our stay in the apartement very much.
Great place to stay and perfect location. Secure and spacious.
The flat was well heated however, as the windows don't close properly we never managed to get warm and comfortable. We had to get blankets to watch tv and move the table away from the window to have diner. 2-on the last but one day of our stay we didn't have any hot water; as it had been very cold , we thought it was a problem due to the whole building and would be fixed rapidly; it was the same on our last day. When i sent an e mail to christin (who had given us the key), i mention the hot water problem, and about an hour later we heard someone leaving the building with a gaz tank. We re
Our main selection criterion was location in central Copenhagen and the ability to sleep two adults and two children. We found the bed covers to be too warm (as we have in most other places in Scandinavia) so a choice of lighter blankets would have been useful. As it was we only used sheets. Denmark is much warmer at night than Canberra in Australia! :-)
Great apartment, but the poor quality curtains in the bedroom and the very thin blinds in the sitting room, made sleeping on the sofa bed in the sitting room impossible, as the street lights are quite strong. The bedroom curtains also let in a lot of light and we have to improvise to ensure a good nights sleep. The bathroom was a little on the small side, especially as one of the party was pregnant.
the people who cleaned it and made the reception were very kind
Everything was wonderful! If we had any comments at all the apartment could have used an ice tray and a few smaller hand/dish towels, rather than just bath towels. However, these were minor issues compared to how great the apartment was!
No oven, needs an extra saucepan. Someone should have warned us about the street parties. We had huge speakers 3 metres from the front windows blasting at full bore which rattled the window panes and the dishes in the kitchen.
No complaints - everything I needed and more was in the apartment. Everything was spotless and the location was just fab.
excellent location,good place.
The apartment was not clean - especially the bathroom, in addition it was very small. I did not sit in the sofa, because it was full of spots and not very delicate. The floors was also full of black marks. The building itself was not very nice either.
Everything was great except the noise...It was very noisy, the street was awfully noisy on friday and saturday's nights till 3 a.m.
The lighting in the kitchen and living room was poor. The kitchen lacked many basic items, for example, a spatula to flip eggs. The bathroom is extremely small and could not accommodate more than two people easily, although there is room for more to sleep. There were insufficient towels; no bath mat to step on out of the shower. No rugs of any kind were in the apt. The building entrance is substandard; the metal steps are fallling apart and there is graffiti all over the facade. The contact who met us gave us very little information and was standoffish and awkward in his manner. The apartment was somewhat cold. Although there were space heaters (portable radiators) you had to be next to them to feel the heat. No apparent central heating.
very happy, a bit noisy at night from outside and the floor above (party..)
Like I said, everything was great. Only one tiny, tiny complaint, and that's the burners on the stove were a little slow and/or cryptic - I never quite got it, really. A second complaint might be urban noise, but that's almost a given for any city location, so just bring some earplugs. Buy groceries at the local supermarket an you will save bundles of money on rest. food, which is very expensive in C-hagen (and rarely worth it ). Also, it's worth knowing that even though our orig. booking had a last minute cancellation (very nerve wracking), RedApple mobilized to help, immediately and fully, so for those who are risk averse, this is important to know - they are customer-focused and reliable, in my experience.
Flat well situated even if the house from outside and doorstep rough.Well equipped etc.Only a HUGe problem, VERY NOISY Friday and saturday evening! Not just from resturants around, understandable, but from flats around, young people partying with windows open until late in the night. We had to scream them to close, and at 01am we had to call the police!Who said they cannot do anything;Furthermore there where lots of people partying on the parking "dead end" outside the flat, sat night until 04h30, they had huge stereos with them and were dancing just below the window, horrible noise, needless to s
Very nice apartment in the center of Copenhagen
This apartment has a very odd layout, the living room is large with a sofa bed at the front door. The bedroom is off the kitchen and so is the shower room. There were two entrances to the apartment and the back door was very handy as the kitchen and shower room could be accessed without going through the bedroom. We enjoyed the terrific location, we've been to Copenhagen many times and its a great city to walk.
The location of this apartment can't be beaten in terms of being central and in a nice area of the city with some lovely shops, cafes around. The style of the apartment is really nice, and it has a lovely big lounge with plenty of space for a family to relax after a hard days sightseeing (small supermarket with late opening close by makes catering for yourself very easy too). It is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Yes, the bathroom is very small - but how much time do you spend in a bathroom!?! The only problem which others have had too, was the noise - Sat night there was loud music until the early hours (coming from other apartments I think - couldn't quite work it out) - thankfully there is an extra sofa to sleep on in the lounge where the noise wasn't quite so bad! Other than that, it is a great little apartment and would stay there again.
The apartment was just right for me and my traveling companion for a six night vacation in Copenhagen. The apartment had all the conveniences we needed was very close by several restaurants a grocery store the Stroget for shopping & souveniers easy walk to Tivoli train station palaces beautiful churches etc. The manager Sindri was very pleasant & helpful when we first arrived and was easy to contact if we needed anything. I only had to call him once to have him explain about connecting with a taxi service which turned out to be very easy. I highly recommend Red Apple for persons looking for an apartment stay in Copenhagen. I would use them again for a return to Copenhagen or for another European city I may be visiting in the future. Thank you folks at Red Apple Copenhagen. Steve Fox Monterey California USA
Very noisy location impossible to sleep First floor noise comes from every window outside and in the courtyard. Will not recommend it to anybody
We liked our stay. Nice touristic places like round Tower are in walking distance. Appartment is well equipped.
We had a very nice stay in this lovely appartment. The only negative thing us the noise sometimes in the late evening and night.
You can't get much more central than this. Everything is within walking distance. Because of its layout the flat is best used by a family. At night it can occasionally be a bit noisy. Earplugs recommended. But that's not unusual for a central city location and shouldn't stop anyone renting the apartment!
We enjoyed the apartment very much it was great for a family located only a minute away from the main shopping street a few minutes from Nørreport station (Metro and S train) near a grocery store and just in the middle of everything! The noise outside the apartment during the weekend was not that bad but for light sleepers we would probably not recommend the apartment for a weekend stay. The bathroom was very small but overall it was great. We would definitely like to stay in the apartment again.
We chose this apartment as we saw it was nice and well located. We enjoyed a lot our stay in the apartment ideal for a family stay. Really close to one of the main streets and in walking distance to every place we wanted to visit. Check in was great and quick. Supermarket close to the apartment.
We all really loved the appartment, such a brilliant location and very well maintained. An excellent spot to get to know the city. Im pleased there were earplugs provided as it was quite noisy on Saturday night, but provided you are prepared for this, then there should really be no issue. The owner even provided ear plugs. superb touch.
The apartment is located next to a busy street, of which noise could be heard throughout midnight. Another source of noise came from the air condition in the back. The owner provided two pairs of ear studs, but they are of little use. Other than that, our experience of staying in this apartment was pleasant. We understand that there is always pros and cons when choosing an apartment nearby a busy street. It took only five minutes to get to the shopping areas and took part in the sensational jazz festival!
Great appartment in city center. Noisy on saturday night
Appartment was really noisy, so its quite diffcult to sleep at night. But we enjoyed our stay anyway. Thank you
The apartment we stayed at was very nice and comfortable. It was provided with everything we need for a pleasant holiday. In the very middle of Copenhagen, we could move always on foot. The apartment was quite clean even if we found a couple of dirty plates. The only flaw was in the smallness of the bathroom.
The apartment was spacious and in a very good location close to all tourist attractions . My complaint would be that the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly and the bed linen could be updated as there was no pillow protectors under the pillow slips and the pillows were yellow . The sofa bed wasnt that comfortable for 2 people . I think these issues are easily rectified and would then make the accommodation perfect
Bedroom window opens onto a small courtyard that services a noisy bar. Blairing, vibrating music starts 9:00PM and continues into wee hours. One night until 6:00AM !!!! Directly below the apartment is the warehouse and service depot of a large busy restaurant very nearby. Doors slamming, Banging, thumping, bottles clanking; this starts before 700AM every morning and sounds as though they are right in the apartment. Noisy neighbourhood of drunks, partiers, homeless persons right out the front windows of the apartment.
