This lovely apartment is in very charming old house from 1730 in the oldest street of Copenhagen. This place gives you true experience of how it is to live in the city center in historic place. It's one of 3 apartments in the same house: the other 2 are 4887 on the 2nd. floor and 6066 on the 1st. floor.
The master bedroom has two single beds that can be closed off with a curtain to get some privacy. In the living room there is a sleeping sofa for two with a good mattress.
The apartment is located in the city center and it only takes about 5 min to walk to the main shopping street Stroget. The area is very charming wit a lot of small restaurants, shops and cafes.
You can walk the the city center. Tivoli, Rådhuspladsen, Stroget and many other fantastic places in the city center can be visited.
Best is to take Metro to Kgs. Nytorv station from Kastrup. Then wither walk to the apartment about 10 min or change Metro at Kgs. Nytorv and travel 1 stop to Gl. Strand only 3 min away.Travel time to airport is around 30min.
Best way is to walk. Takes about 5 minutes.
To the airport 7.50km
To the metro
300 m
It is not allowed to use the fireplace in the apartment. There is a micro wave and induction hotplates, but no real stove.
This will be replaced with the Google Map.
Really nice apartment and it has a very good location. I will recommend it!
the location is very central nice apartment especially if you are travelling with a family. One minor thing was lack of an elevator sif you have a little baby keep this in mind however we did manage at the end and the owner was very helpful
I enjoyed my stay in the apartment, and the location could not have been any better. The apartment is close to the shopping street, bars and cultural events. The apartment is nice with several beds, a large bathroom and cosy living room. The staff is really helpful and available per email at most times. However, the furniture is old which makes a special smell in the apartment. There are limited possibilities for cooking and some of the equipment are worn out/ damaged. But all in all a really nice place to stay in the centre of Copenhagen.
Lovely flat in the best location in Copenhagen.
Clean and comfortable, friendly greeting. Main drawback is that it is up several flights of stairs.
We were 4 older ladies and found we could walk everywhere and loved the uniqueness of the old city location would definitely recommend it to anyone the stairs for our luggage was a bit hard but was worth the effort Will remember this stay as one of our highlights of our vacation
The stairs are a challenge, the furnishings are comfy but basic, and I would go back in a heartbeat for the charming history and excellent location. Third bed was not comfortable and mattress should be replaced.
We had a wonderful stay in the top floor apartment (Champagne), which was charmingly decorated. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and the apartments are located on a very pretty street just 5-10 mins walk from the Town Hall. For this price, I was very impressed at the location. The fridge was a bit dodgy when we arrived, but the owner was very apologetic for that. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Charming apartment hotel on Copenhagens oldest street, therefore need to get through cobblestones of the pavement. The apartment under the roof is kind of special, but you will need to climb the old stairs (with kids/disabled persons might need to consider this fact). Perfect heating even in the windy winter, stable wi-fi, interesting view on the roofs of the old city. Central location (therefor noisy during the weekend), the walking streets are just next to you, easy to depart on city sightseeing, cafes, restaurants in the neighborhood. Nice and helpful personal.
We stayed here as a family of 4 including an 18 yr old and a 20 yr old. We found the apartment clean and very charming. There is a very steep staircase which may be difficult to navigate with larger pieces of luggage. The check-in and check-out process was the best system we have ever experienced and we have rented apartments many times throughout Europe. The location of this apartment was stellar! We were close to and within walking distance of nearly all the sites we wanted to see. There were many squares and restaurants very very close. There was a bakery on the corner of the street and a well-stocked grocery store within 7-8 min. walking distance. We highly recommend buying skyr and topping with muesli (skyr is delicious Icelandic/Danish yogurt and the muesli topping is like granola). It was the best breakfast and snack food! The Stroget was about 4- 6 short blocks away. We took the free Copenhagen walking tour which was an excellent introduction to the city for us. After that, we were able to easily navigate the area. The tour introduced us to Copenhagen street food, which we loved and it was very affordable option, since Copenhagen is a very expensive city. We also really enjoyed the canal tour we went on. We chose the cheaper option of the boat tours. If you do this, go early to choose your seats or you will not be under the scratched plexiglass. We sat at the back and it was completely open to enjoy the views. We would definitely stay with Red Apple again.
The apartment is nice and clean; and therere more than enough room to fit 4 people. During our stay, we found its very convenient to travel within the city from where we stay and there were lot to see in the neighbor.
We were extremely pleased with this lofty apt on the top floor. Centrally located it was ideal for our 4 days vacation in a small group. It had all we needed and the befs were very comfy. Internet alliwed us to talk on the phone three people at a time. Great bargain!
We loved the location and the apartment, despite all the stairs. For us they just added to the atmosphere. Everything in a walking distance in old Copenhagen. Would like to stay there again.
This is a charming flat in an area built in the 1600s It is located downtown and the major sites are within an easy walking distance or for more adventurous travel the tour bus and boat are close by. Wear good walking shoes as the streets and sidewalks are made with uneven bricks however this does not bother the residents as most travel by bicycle. The apartment is clean with kitchen necessities, however there are many bakeries and restaurants in the area. The only negative we found is that it was 40 steps up from the street. Ruth is very helpful and reachable. We highly recommend this apartment.
The attic apartment, situated in an old cobbled street close to the city centre, was within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and most major attractions. An ideal base for exploring Copenhagen by foot.
the apartment was perfect. The office staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We loved it.
The location is absolutely perfect, not too noisy but not too far away from the noise. Walking distance from the nearest tube station from the airport, within the old city centre... what more could you wish for. Both of the apartments we've been staying at have been comfortable enough to call home.
We enjoyed our stay in a very central and authentic Kopenhagen location, walking distance of all must dos/sees. The apartment is very well equipped for a couple, but for 4 people it is a bit tight (no separate bedroom) and the kitchen appliances are very limited (only 2 stove tops for cooking). The host was very helpful and allowed us to sleep in on 1/01 until we had our flight in the evening, as there was no other booking. Much appreciated, and shows great customer service! I would strongly recommend this apartment to couples or couples with maximum 2 kids.
I stayed one month in this apartment during the cold winter months. The owner was extremely helpful in all matters. The place is cosy (not small), well heated and comfortable. The location couldn't be better in Copenhagen. The kitchen is enough for simple meals and snacks. Good wifi. I would definitely recommend it and I want to go back next time I'm in Copenhagen.
