Islands Brygge is known for its calm surroundings and cosy atmosphere. The apartments have 2 grocery stores on the same street and several bakeries, coffee shops and a shopping mall nearby.
Only a short walk of 15 minutes gets the guest to the city center as well as the famous attraction Tivoli and the free city of Christiania. The area is surrounded by parks and even a architecturally designed harbour bath where you can go swimming and sun bathing during the summer months.
The easiest way to get to the hotel from the airport is by the underground metro. The metro runs all day and night and takes about 25 minutes. Directions from the airport is to take the metro heading towards Vanløse, get off at the stop Christianshavn, switch to the metro heading towards Vestamager and get off at Islands Brygge.
Walking takes about 15 minutes. There is a bus line which goes every ten minutes from the central station as well as the city center and stops right outside the Apartments. The underground metro runs from King's New Square and stops at the metro station 3 minutes away from the Apartments.
