Great little cosy appartment
Exactly as portrayed in the photos. My son and I rented bicycles and found this to be an excellent location, in a quiet neighbourhood, for exploring Copenhagen. The apartment met our needs perfectly. We could cook vegan meals (not often available in restaurants), wash laundry, search the web for places to see, and never worry about leaving our personal belongings. If I'm again in Copenhagen for several days, this will be the accommodation I'll attempt to book. Thank you.
Could not say a bad thing about this place. Martin the owner was a lovely chap and had a good chat with us when we arrived. The location was 3 mins walk from one of the metro stations. there was a nice a little soundsystem and some amazing music to listen too. great books in many languages. comfy seating/sleeping. good kitchen. nice little shared garden....hopefully we will get the chance to stay again next year :-) thanks martin the place was great :-) jack alistair and sara
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Frederikshaven Just a short two min stroll to the metro and you are in the heart if Copenhagen in ten min. The apartment is efficient clean homely and has all you need. The bed was a little small but an extra matrass is available. Lots of fantastic music to listen at as the owner is a jazz lover and player. A good supply of information of the area was at hand. There is a garden you can enjoy.When I go back to Copenhagen I will not hesitate to book this again. For Copenhagen its certainly good value.
We had a fantastic time in Copenhagen and really enjoyed how comfortable this apartment was. The owner's aunt met us and made us feel very welcome in the apartment. We'd wholly recommend this as a place to stay.
I lived in this apartment for 5 months. It was so cozy. I felt at home since the very first day. Martin is the friendliest, coolest landlord you will ever meet. I cannot recommend this apartment enough, I had one of the best times of my life in Yrsavej!
We enjoyed our visit to Copenhagen while staying in a small apartment a bit out of town in Frederiksberg.The apartment is quite comfortable and is in a very quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance of bus and metro transportation into town. We found the bus to a better option as it left us off near Tivoli and other tourist sites. The owner is a musician who travels frequently and rents out while he is gone. Since we came in by cruise ship that docked at 5am, we needed a place to stay or at least drop off our luggage. The owner very kindly met our taxi at his apartment and let us check in at 9am. The kitchen/dinette, bath and small living room are all very nice with comfortable furniture. However, the bedroom in really tiny and the bed is fairly small for two persons and not particularly comfortable.For some reason he had taken his TV out so we were not able to watch World Cup soccer matches as planned. However, he let enjoy his very extensive collection of music CDs. Two things that we particularly missed during our stay were ice make cold drinks (no ice tray) and a converter wall plug so we could charge our IPOD and camera batteries.The internet service, however, was good. All in all I would recommend this 2nd floor apartment for its fair price (in outrageously expensive Copenhagen) and its convenient 20-minute transportation to the tourist attractions.
The apartment was top notch. Everything was made available to us, the best of which was the owner's large selection of CDs. The flat was in an ideal location for all forms of transport. It was clean neat and tidy and we intend to try and book it again on our return to Denmark.
