Only 15 min drive to the maintown Isafjordur. The summers are great, calm and lot of sunny days and great to visit the Westfjords and explore the beautiful nature.
The best time to see The Northern Lights in Iceland is from September to mid-April – these are the months where there are full dark nights.
Sudavik, is a very well located place to explore the Aurora Borealis.
The house is a 4-bedrooms, about 180 m2 private house with two living rooms.
Suitable for 8 persons.
The size of the bed in the Master bedroom is 160 cm. x 200 cm.
The size of the beds in two bedrooms are 120 cm. x 200 cm and the forth bedroom has bed of the size 90 cm x 200 cm.
We also have some mattresses if needed.
There is a large terrace on the south side of the house with outdoor furniture in the summertime. In the house you have a beautiful sea view and also a mountain view

The Arctic Fox Centre:
In the Arctic Fox Centre they offer an exhibition about the arctic fox. The exhibition demonstrates the biology and ecology of the arctic fox, the only native land mammal in Iceland, the hunting history and the relationship between foxes and men throughout the centuries. The arctic fox centre is serving as a cultural house with a nice little cafe, souvenir shop, multi-use loft and the Arctic Fox exhibition.
A short walk to Raggagardur which is a family playground, built up by volunteers and in the memory of Raggi, a local young man who passed away in a car accident ten years ago.
There take about 15 - 20 min. to drive to the main town Isafjordur. There is about 15 min drive to the domestic airport from Sudavik.
Getting around

If you take the flight from Reykjavik it takes about 40 min.
If driving from Reykjavik, it takes about 5 hours, (430 KM) in beautiful nature.
You will not get bored on your way driving to Westfjords , seeing seals, possible whales in the fjords, birds, and likely you will see foxes running over the road.
It is only 15 min drive from the airport to Sudavik.
Where is the house:
It is at Holtagata 4, 420 Sudavik. When you come to Sudavik, it is in the inner village. Drive the street Arnarflot towards the mountain when you come to the street Holtagata and turn left and drive Holtagata almost to the end of the street. The house is red and on your left site of the road.
