The house is located in Flateyri, a small and charming fishing village in the Westfjords of Iceland. People use words like "comfortable", "cute", "cozy", "nice" and "basic" to describe the house when they visit. It has a rustic feel, is around 100 squaremeters (140 square inches) and on two floors. On the upper level there are two bedrooms with double beds. On the lover level: a living room, equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and washer.
It's ideal for 3-4 people to stay in.

The house is located in Flateyri, a small and charming fishing village in the Westfjords of Iceland. The population of Flateyri is around 180. There you'll find a swimming pool, a local pub/coffeshop that serves good food and is run by nice people, a small convenience store, kayak rental, sea angling and more. There is public transport that runs from Flateyri to Isafjordur (once or twice daily) but off course it is better to have a car.
The village is surrounded by beautiful mountains which are great to hike. Isafjordur (biggest town in the Westfjords - population of 2500) is a 20 minutes drive away. In the area there are also other interesting small fishing villages which are fun to visit: Thingeyri (has a horse rental), Sudureyri (nice swimming pool), etc.
