Cointe is a chic and peaceful quarter of Liège which is full of beautiful buildings. Walking around Cointe is a very pleasant experience. You can also enjoy the Parc de Cointe, a big woody park, ideal for strolls or jogs, with loads of games and tennis courts. There are some shops with all the essentials in the center of Cointe: mini supermarket, bookshop, pharmacy, snacks, pizza shop, bakers. The ‘Kleyer’, a famous bar which fills it’s terrace in less than 5 minutes from the first ray of sun and, opposite, the very good Chinese restaurant ‘Shansui’.
One of the main assets of the apartment is that it’s only a 5 minute walk away from the Gare des Guillemins which, aside from its station boutiques, has a big expedition room and the ‘maison des cyclistes’ (a place to rent bikes). From the station, walk towards the Rue des Guillemins, a very busy road that is bursting with useful things to do: bakery (we recommend Eggen-Nols), butchers etc.
