This historic neighborhood is one of my favorites because of its subtle beauty and tranquility. This walkable quiet charming neighborhood by the river is a hidden gem. The main attractions include a major church, a convent as well as a small chapel that are still in function today. Several blocks from the apartment, there is a farmer and fish market which is at the centre of Spanish life where one can experience the authentic local food of Andalucia at local prices. As part of the historic quarter of Malaga, it is close to all attractions which are within walking distance, everything is reached in 15 minutes walk max.

There are two ways, one via a taxi, the other is the commuter train which takes about 15 minutes from the airport to the town center. From there 20 minutes walk to the apartment.
