The apartment is located in a quiet downtown area right at the end of Reykjavik's main shopping street, Laugavegur and the main city bus station, Hlemmur. Parking in a garage is included.
A bedroom with a double bed and large wardrope. Living room with TV, DVD player and stereo, a very comfortable double sleeper/sofabed that sleeps two. I can put in a mattress for an extra child to sleep on.
Most of Reykjavik's best known restaurants, bars, cafés and designer shops are within 3-20 minute walking distance. Also in a walking distance there are the main church, an indoor/outdoor swimming pools, theaters, cinemas, and galleries. Reykjavik's shopping mall; Kringlan, is also within walking distance. Only 2 min. walk to supermarket open 7-24 and only 5 min. to the seafront. Hotel Klettur is right next door, for day trip pickup.
Also note that Reykjavik's main hospital is within walking distance.

The drive to Reykjavik from Keflavik airport should take around 45 minutes. First you take road 41 to Hafnarfjörðuer and there you get on road 40. When you are almost at the coast (Grand Hotel in front of you) you take a left turn on to Laugavegur street. Drive 500 m to the apartment, the building is on your left. You can also take a Flybus that takes you to town once you arrive. You can get a Hotel drop off that will take you to Hotel Klettur, wright next door to the apartment.
The apartment is only 500 m from Reykjavik's main city bus station, Hlemmur on Laugavegur street. Laugavegur in Reykjavik's main shopping street. You can walk from the city center, up Laugavegur, past Hlemmur by 500 m and you are there. This is only 10-15 minutes walk.
