The charming apartment, perfect for families or groups of friends, is located near the central transport hub of Rome making it the perfect base for an enjoyable trip to Rome. The apartment is about 120 square m and can accommodate up to 10 people. Overlooking beautiful orange trees, typical of early 19th century Roman gardens on one side, you will also have access to a sweet terrace and table.
The apartment has three full bedrooms, two of which are master bedrooms with comfortable double beds. The third bedroom is comprised of two single beds, perfect for children or friends to share. Additionally, the apartment is equipped with two comfortable sofa beds which accommodate two persons each. There is also a crib available for small children.
The apartment is very conveniently located near Rome's Termini station, the central transport hub of the city with access to both the Metro A and B and a number of busses to take you where you desire. The area is known as Castrum Praetorium, the barracks of the Praetorian Guard, which is included in the Aurelian Walls. The area is full of local-owned shops, businesses and cafés as well as monuments including the National Library and Porta Pia which is a gate of the Aurelian walls designed by Michelangelo. There are a number of grocery stores and other services located near the apartment.
We suggest walking as the best way to get around Rome as it allows for a true experience of the city. It is easy to reach the Colosseo, Piazza della Repubblica, a famous shopping street, Via Nazionale, and Porta Pia by foot. However, if you prefer taking public transportation there is no better place to stay due to the position next to Termini station and Castro Pretorio metro stops and Termini for busses and trains.
From Fiumicino airport, take the city train to Stazione Termini or the bus to Stazione Termini. Exit the station on via Marsala; once on via Marsala, turn left and walk approximately 50 meters until you reach the intersection with via Vicenza. All together, it’s no longer than a five minute walk!
From Ciampino airport, take the bus from Bus Arrivals to Termini Station or take the bus to the “Anagnina” underground station, from which you should then take the underground to Termini.
