Duplex apartment on the two top floors, total area of 125 m2 with a 40 m2 terrace, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Walking distance to everything; royal castle, city hall and old town. Quiet area. The apartment is in one of Stockholm's nicest areas, called the "St Eriks-area". It is a green, quiet area which feels more like a small town than being in the heart of the capital of Sweden. It's an award winning area where old meets modern. Built in 1996 in the style of the 1920’s Nordic classicism, the area offers the serenity of a small village and at the same time being close to all that the city has to offer. There is a small, quiet park right next door and steps (and a walkway) that leads down to the water with a nice walk along a waterfront, surrounded by trees, green areas and playgrounds. This walk takes you around Kungsholmen and is much appreciated for jogging and strolls. Wintertime, you can go with plastic sleds with the kids down the small hills and ski on the canal.
Masterbedroom: double bed. Guestroom has a pull out double, 2 kids' bedrooms w/ 2 single beds and crib. Room for extra bed in one of the bedrooms.
Kungsholmen. Walking distance to all that the city has to offer. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores nearby, but yet a quiet residential neighbourhood. Award Winning area, St Eriks area.
Walking distance to the Royal Castle, City Hall where the Nobel festivities take place, where you can catch a boat to visit Drottningholm, the residence of the King and Queen, city centre etc.
Take the Arlanda Express bus, then metro, local bus or a taxi.
You can easily walk, just follow Kungsgatan, over the bridge to Fleminggatan, then into the St Eriks area - or take blue bus nr 1, get off at Fleminggatan or green line to Rådhuset.
