City center southern part. Nice and quiet still in the middle of the most vivid part of Stockholm. The house was built 1757 and by that time belonged to the church opposite the apartment. It is part of an old cultural heritage.
The area is quite unique with a Paris Montmartre feel with quite a few tourist walks in the area. If you want to experience part of the old Swedish architectural heritage as well as the trendiest part of Stockholm this area will be on your list.
Several grocery stores including health food stores, restaurants from luxury to local joints, pubs and bars, and children playgrounds all around the corner. Royal castle a nice 15 min slow stroll away.

Our family spent 5 nights in this apartment, and would gladly do so again. The owner communicated clearly and was extremely helpful in answering questions and offering tips and advice on Stockholm. The apartment was impeccably clean and well equipped, the building itself is historic and attractive, and the location was excellent. Lots of shops, restaurants and groceries nearby, and easy access to the rest of central Stockholm by foot or on the metro. Would highly recommend it to others.
We stayed here in July 2015 and it was the perfect place for either a couple or family with young children. Helena, the owner, was always available when we had questions and there were plenty of toys and the sweetest of bunk beds for the children. The location is great for an easy walk to the city centre, cafes and restaurants, but is also beautifully quiet and positioned with an outlook next to a wonderful church. Needless to say, the apartment was also clean and fully equipped with all the necessities.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the apartment. The location is fantastic, you are in a lovely older building, well maintained with a cute yard to relax in. Cobblestone streets and a beautiful church/park across the street. The apartment itself is cozy and furnished with everything you need and more. Helena went above and beyond he duties as a host and welcomed us with a smile. She even reached out before our stay to see if we needed anything for food/breakfast. A very helpful guide of recommendations for restaurants, bars and activities was custom-built for us by Helena, something we really appreciated! I highly recommend staying here if you are in Stockholm!
