In a calm oasis located in the middle of urban Södermalm in the center of Stockholm is our beautiful, newly refurnished apartment located. With its private patio on the backside of the building and an outside coffee-table in the front of the building it fits anyone who is interested in experience Stockholm for real, and have a nice home to return to after a long day exploring.
In the bedroom there is one king size bed (160 cm) and a childs bed.
The living room has a big sofa that one person can sleep in.
Södermalm (look it up on wikipedia!) is one of the big islands that the inner city of Stockholm is located on. Formerly known as the part of the city where the working class lived and stayed, but Södermalm is now known as home of bohemian, alternative culture and a broad range of cultural amenities and home of privileged Stockholmers.
Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores etc are located around the corner from our apartment and you will have no problem walking around by foot to find interesting locations nearby.
Gamla stan (old town), with all its sightings - including the royal castle, is approx. 2 kilometers away from the apt.
A short boat ride away is Djurgården (The royal game park), a big and beautiful park used by former kings for hunting, the park is surrounded by water and has a number of restaurants and even an amusement park.
The biggest airport in Stockholm is Arlanda airport. It is located approx. 45 km from the apartment. A taxi ride is usually around 50 EURO (most comfortable way). Other options are Arlanda Express (speed train), that takes about 18 min to the city center (fastest way) the ticket is around 20 EURO per person. The cheapest way to get from the airport is probably the bus that takes approx. 45 min and is about 10 Euro per person.
Subway from T-centralen (city center) to Mariatorget (apartment) is available around the clock. The ride is 4 minutes. When arriving Mariatorget it is a 200 m, or 3 minute walk to get to the apartment.
