The vibe in the streets of Södermalm is relaxed, creative and trendy, especially in the Sofo area. This neighborhood offers a myriad of vintage stores, eclectic shops, Swedish fashion, galleries and design stores, mixed with an abundance of places to eat and drink.
Two of the best viewpoints in the city are located on Södermalm: Fjällgatan and Monteliusvägen. Art galleries are nestled shoulder to shoulder on Hornsgatspuckeln.
You can walk to the Castle.
Cheapest way is to take the bus. Fastest is Arlanda Express.
Buss 57 stops right outside the house and take you to Slussen and old town in 8 min.

Very beautiful apartment, well-equipped, clean, modern with everything you need. We loved the spacious roof terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The owners are very nice people and extremely helpful. Easy and uncomplicated communication.
WE STAYED FOR 5 NIGHTS; AIRY AND SPACIOUS, VERY CLEAN AND WELL-PREPARED. Owner and Red Apple very helpful with questions before we arrived and after arrival eg, which parking space was theirs. The Parking space was great..we needed a car so to have that took all the worry out of our stay. well equipped.. Sleeps five and it really does. Good location about 20 mins by car to central Stockholm. We eventually found huge supermarket...about 10 mins by car (directions in flat would be useful!). Altogether we has a great week, helped by lovely sunny weather. Sept 2016
This apartment was spacious and not to mention that the owners are super friendly and amazing. The apartment is slightly out of city life which is great if you want a bit of space and if you walk about 20 minutes, you'll be in central södermalm. All in all a great place to live for a few weeks. :)
